What the price includes here

Quoted before it runs
Every render shows its price on the button before anything is charged.
Samples before a batch
A batch can render a few samples first; the rest waits until you approve them.
Refunded when no video comes out
When a render fails, or a safety check blocks it, the held credits are refunded automatically. A video that is made is charged.

Rows with an input video use an input as long as the output. BytePlus, fal and WaveSpeed bill input and output seconds; Replicate bills output seconds at its video-input rate.

How each priceis worked out

Every figure comes from the provider's own published rate and formula. Nothing is rounded until it is shown.

BytePlus list

(input s + output s) × width × height × 24 ÷ 1024 = tokens; tokens × USD per 1M tokens

$3.50 per million tokens without video input, $2.10 with it. With a video input, a minimum token count applies to short inputs.

fal

height × width × (input s + output s) × 24 ÷ 1024 × $0.007 per 1,000 tokens

With a video input, fal counts the input seconds too and multiplies the price by 0.6.

Replicate

USD per second of output × output seconds

$0.04 a second at 480p and $0.09 at 720p; with a video input, $0.05 and $0.11. The input length is not billed.

WaveSpeed

USD per second × output seconds; with a reference video, (input s + output s) × the reference rate

$0.06 a second at 480p and $0.12 at 720p. With a reference video, $0.0375 and $0.075 a second of input plus output; each input counts as at least 2 s and at most 15 s, rounded up.

Output sizes used for token counts: 720p is 1280×720 and 480p is 864×496 (16:9), as BytePlus and Replicate publish them.

Worked example, 720p · 5 s on fal: 720 × 1280 × 5 × 24 ÷ 1024 = 108,000 tokens, × $0.007 ÷ 1,000 = $0.76.

With a video input, BytePlus bills a minimum token count: for a 5-second 720p output it is 194,400 tokens, the same as 9 seconds of input plus output, so any input of 2 to 4 seconds costs the same as 4. The rows above use inputs long enough that the minimum never applies. Minimum token table

Higgsfield plansconverted per clip

Higgsfield sells monthly plans with credits, not a price per clip, so it gets its own table and stays out of the cheapest ordering above.

Higgsfield includes Seedance 2.0 Mini in its plans but does not publish its credit cost, so there is nothing to convert. See the Fast conversion

Questionsabout this comparison

How is fal's price turned into a price per clip?

fal bills tokens: height × width × seconds × 24 ÷ 1024, times its price per 1,000 tokens ($0.007 for Seedance 2.0 Mini). We apply that formula to each spec. With a video input, fal counts the input seconds too and multiplies the price by 0.6.

Do input videos cost more?

It depends on the provider. BytePlus, fal and WaveSpeed bill the input seconds as well as the output, at a lower rate. Replicate bills only output seconds, at a higher rate when a video is attached. The table uses an input as long as the output.

Does audio change the price?

Not on any of these price tables. fal says the price is the same either way, and Higgsfield says its sound toggle does not change the cost.

How old are these numbers?

Each source shows the date we checked it, most recently 2026-10-12. If a source is not re-checked within 30 days, every percentage that depends on it disappears, and the prices stay listed with their dates.

Why is Higgsfield in a separate table?

Higgsfield sells monthly plans with credits. The price per clip depends on how much of the plan you use, so we convert it with the assumptions stated and keep it out of the cheapest ordering.
